The Role


The Role


- Support the commercial action plan and objectives for the region, aligning the strategy with the regions Business Unit Director.
- Responsible for developing business relationships with End users and EPC contractors in order to maximize sales volumes and Long Terms Fidelity within Tenaris client base.
- Responsible for achieving yearly sales targets which are in line with Tenaris regional budget.
- Detects and develops differentiation opportunities (products or services) in order to enhance Tenaris positioning.
- Establishes short term commercial objectives, tactical moves and operating plans for future development at a regional / account level.
- Maximizes sales opportunities by meeting sales volume objectives, identifying and solving the problems affecting sales or distribution of the products in the corresponding region or segment and identifying proper commercial channels and conditions.
- Responsible for supporting contract negotiation on price, sales conditions.
- Coordinates with Marketing department the execution of defined marketing strategies and regional segment plans providing inputs to market intelligence activities; also ensuring development of sales objectives and pricing strategies defined with Inside sales.
- Provides input to Sales Management on Product Development activities.
- Ensures the achievement of Business Unit commercial objectives exploring opportunities to develop new services.
- Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.

Requirements


Requirements


- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years work experience in a commercially focused position within the Oil and Gas industry.
- Exposure to the MENA region Oil and Gas industry is essential.
- Experience of detailed contract negotiations is essential for long term success in this position.
- A proven track report of exceeding sales budgets.
- The ability to communicate at all levels with the ability to influence both internal and external clients
