Job description / Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial/Cost Director for a major multibillion USD infrastructure project based in Qatar.
Responsibilities
•Leading and directing all commercial aspects of executing the programme management consultant’s role on a major programme of infrastructure development works
•Establishing procedures for award and administration of Project contracts
•Directing the commercial team to ensure that they meet the Project objectives by establishing contracts and securing materials, equipment and related services on time and within budget, in an ethical manner at all times, in accordance with procedures
Requirements

•Degree Educated in relevant discipline
•A minimum of 20 years post graduate experience, 10 years of which should be experience working on Bridges and Tunnels related projects
•Membership of a recognised International Professional Body e.g. MRICS
•Sound knowledge of the commercial and contract administration aspects of major civil & infrastructure projects - including significant experience on large tunnels/bridge projects.
•Experience working in the Middle East region is essential
