The RoleThe RoleWe are recruiting Commissioning Engineers for a successful international company in Abu Dhabi, specialising in large scale safety and security solutions for critical infrastructure. This permanent job opportunity is suitable for candidates with experience in commissioning of sensors and other security devices e.g. IP cameras, CCTV, command and control centres, optical devices and other defence technology. Ideal candidate will be responsible to monitor on a day o day basis all sensor installation and connection including SVC and pole tray installations. Job responsibilities: • Testing and Commissioning product features and components for security technology, particularly sensors, motion detectors, IP cameras etc. • Participating in all aspects of quality control, including reviewing requirements, developing test structures (concepts, plans, and cases) and testing the product • Design, implementation and execution of system level and product feature tests • Developing automatic testing tools • Reviewing inspection and test plans • Assisting the Testing and Commissioning Supervisor to compile turnover documentation • Coordinating any inconsistencies with Testing and Commissioning Supervisor |
RequirementsRequirements• 4+ years experience in commissioning, quality control and testing of security and defence technology, e.g. sensors, motion detectors, cameras etc. • Experience and knowledge in QA methodologies, design, implementation and execution of test plans for defence, homeland security or border protection sectors • Excellent documentation skills • Team player • Excellent English – verbal and written • Driving license an advantage |
