Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As the Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the commissioning program document reviews, the construction site inspections and the system testing. You will be working on one of KEOs most prestigious projects in Doha.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:
- A career spanning at least four years as a Commissioning Engineer, having had exposure to a wide range of projects including residential and commercial to institutional and infrastructure.
- Management of testing and commissioning programs for Mechanical Engineering.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain successful client relationships on all project related issues.
- Ability to independently conduct commissionability reviews of project documents, construction progress inspections, commissioning inspections and execute commissioning tests.
- High level competency in the use of all commissioning test equipment utilized in Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to create, review or approve a testing and commissioning plan, method statements, testing and commissioning procedures, datasheets, testing criteria and T&C reports.
- A complete understanding of codes and standards regarding testing and commissioning requirements for all mechanical works.

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree (4 year) in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Construction Project Management with a minimum of four years post graduate experience.
- Certification also preferred in CCP, CPMP, CSA Grade 2.
- Ideally hold a membership in a Professional Commissioning organization (e.g. Building Commissioning Association, Commissioning Specialist Association, etc.).
- Prior experience in the Gulf Region would be advantageous.
