Job description / Role
We are currently seeking a qualified Commissioning Engineer to work on some of the most prestigious and internationally recognized projects within the region. This role is a vital and integral part of our Project Management and Construction Management Division in Qatar.
Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate experience with the following:
A minimum of 5 years commissioning experience with an Electrical bias.
Witnessing, testing and verification on large, complex, building projects.
Planning, coordination and oversight of the entire commissioning process. Experience with Design Phase commissioning and Construction Phase system integration is required.
Providing project management and coordination to comply with project milestones and goals as well as managing regulatory and statutory requirements.
Ability to author a project Commissioning Schedule and to verify its incorporation into the Project Schedule.
Requirements
Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate experience.
Previous experience gained within a Consultancy would be beneficial as is membership in or certification from an applicable professional association.
Prior experience working in the Gulf Region is beneficial, but is not a prerequisite.
