Job description / Role
We are currently seeking a qualified Commissioning Manager to work on some of the most prestigious and internationally recognized projects within the region. This role is a vital and integral part of our Project Management and Construction Management Division in Qatar.
Preference will be given to candidates who can demonstrate experience with the following:
• 15 years MEP experience and at least 10 years commissioning experience with the most recent being in a Commissioning Manager role.
• Planning, coordination and oversight of the entire commissioning process. Design Phase commissioning experience and experience overseeing both design and construction phase system integration is required.
• Prior experience of witnessing, testing and verification on large, complex, building or infrastructure projects. Preference will be given to anyone who has experience working on a highway tunnelling projects.
• Providing project management and coordination to comply with project milestones and goals as well as managing regulatory and statutory requirements.
• To author a project Commissioning Schedule and to verify its incorporation into the Project Schedule.
• To Chair Commissioning Meetings and to oversee production and issuance of meeting minutes
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 15 years post-graduate experience.
Previous experience gained within a Consultancy would be beneficial as is membership in or certification from an applicable professional association.
Prior experience working in the Gulf Region is beneficial, but is not a prerequisite.
