Job description / Role
Key responsibilities are:
• Under the guidance of the UPI C&SU Leader develops, maintain and control the Integrated Site Commissioning and start up schedule.
• Work with the RTIP program scheduler and project planner to align the Integrated C&SU schedule with the PMPS.
• Provide support to Project Planners on all ongoing pre-commissioning and commissioning and start-up issues.
• Ongoing review of PMPS in relation to Inter-envelope /Unit commissioning relationships (predecessors and dependencies and durations).
• Provide support to Power Distribution Unit to align integration in relation to overall Plant schedule requirements including the pipe-rack cabling
• Work with Man. Reps and Commissioning Leaders of the various projects to logically link tasks.
• Track progress against the base line schedule.
• Create progress reports for C&SU.
• Run sensitivity studies and develop the critical path for C&SU.
• Track the Site Commissioning Coordination (SCC) budget against the WER.
• Develop progress reports for the SCC budget.
• Initiate and resolve inconsistencies in the schedule
• Develop and update MPP for each system and provide man power resource planning to the team.
• Track pre-commissioning progress against the PMPS.
• Effectively communicate key information to appropriate stakeholders
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Minimum 10-15 years’ of experience within Project Controls, with 8 – 10 years focused in Schedule Management.
• Experienced User of Primavera P6 Project Manager.
• Extensive knowledge in Commissioning and Start up Planning/Scheduling.
• Extensive Knowledge in Schedule Management Work Processes
• Working knowledge/experience in other Planning/Scheduling tools preferred
