VisitBritain, the national tourism agency, promotes Britain as a destination of choice, acting as the global consumer marketing arm for Britain Plc. We are looking to recruit a permanent Communications Manager for the Gulf Market.

Based in VisitBritain’s Dubai office, you will play a key role in enhancing VisitBritain’s reputation as a world-class digital destination marketing organization and will create an in-house center of excellence for marketing communications.

You will be responsible for delivering both a dynamic Digital Marketing and PR strategy for the Gulf Market, by increasing visibility and engagement online through inspired social media optimisation and community management to engage and retain customers, increasing visitors across VisitBritain’s Arabic platforms.

Salary (Annual): AED 181, 000 - 191,000

Requirements

Having managed a variety of digital marketing campaigns in the GCC, from planning and implementation through to analysis and reporting, you champion high levels of numeracy, analytical ability and project management skills.

A comprehensive knowledge of the media landscape and key relationships with print, digital and broadcast media is essential. You will be operating an extensive media outreach to Britain through the visiting journalist programme ensuring widespread publicity across the destination. You will also generate editorial through media relations and PR activity on territory.

You will have an affinity for written and verbal communication and be able to produce and edit written materials; corporate press releases, media briefs, copy for marketing collateral/campaigns and online content, in both English and Arabic.
