Job description / Role
This role will be the single point of accountability for all internal and external communications. Will be responsible for positive positioning, establishing goodwill – through proactively generating positive coverage through effective media relations with broadcast, print and new media. The role needs to manager crisis and issue management for external media aspects. This position will provide strategic counsel to the leadership team and Brands Leads within the Gulf States. This position will report to the Public Affairs and Policy Manager – Gulf States.
Requirements
• B.S. or B.A. in English, Communications or a related field. Graduate with a degree in Communications or a related discipline such as Journalism/PR, Media or relevant business qualification
• Minimum 5 years experience in developing and managing a broad range of communications projects within an organization.
• Demonstrated skills in developing, managing and delivering communication strategies and plans in a large, complex organization.
• Understanding of how to effectively use communications to influence internal and external audiences. Experience with a management of intranet or internet.
• Experience in communications within the legal and/or healthcare/pharmaceutical sector preferred.
