Job description / Role
As the internal communications function expands within Parsons Brinckerhoff' MENA we are in need of additional support to ensure that the company's communications strategy is implemented and activities are timely executed and continually improving.
As such we are recruiting a Communications Assistant to support the development and implementation of the companys communication plans and strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a communications related field, or working towards one.
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Strong oral communication and public speaking skills with excellent verbal and written command of the English language
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to respond appropriately to unexpected challenges and shifting priorities
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to conduct online research
- Ability to take initiative, work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to work and communicate within a culturally diverse environment
- Proficient in MS programs including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Comfortable using social media tools such as Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube
