Alshaya's corporate communications team is expanding to reflect the company's dynamic growth. With opportunities for experienced communicators at senior, manager and executive level, we are looking for talented individuals who want to play a role in shaping and building the reputation of one of the world's leading retail franchise operators. Internal and external communications roles are both on the agenda, and successful candidates will be part of a strategic team that understands what content and channels will build stakeholder and customer awareness, both about Alshaya and the brands we operate.

As part of an expanding team, our Communications Manager specialise in either internal or external communications.

The internal communications team is focused on building employee engagement to support enhanced business performance. The team works at a corporate level, and with individual brands, to optimise communications to colleagues and to build an effective flow of news and information, both at brand level and across the wider business.

Our external communications team is focused on helping our brand teams to optimise media coverage. Acting as communications business partners, they develop relationships with the media and review all content and media engagement plans to ensure the effective reach and quality of brand messaging and media relations activities, consistent with Alshaya policies and guidelines.

Requirements

In both areas we look for candidates with a relevant degree at least 8 years' communications experience, excellent planning, writing and editing skills and a collaborative working style. This is a fast-paced division so the ability to work quickly, accurately and to deadlines is essential.
