Job description / Role
- Creating and supporting PR Campaign planning and messaging-taking a lead on critical analysis and developing new communications channels
- Taking a lead on evaluating PR campaigns to ensure optimal success (for department and internal use)
- Conducting UAE specific research on consumers and media channels to ensure successful campaigns that reach the target market
- Supporting on crisis management statements and strategy
- Liaising with projects team and client to ensure smooth roll out of PR campaigns in parallel with project timings and announcements
- Drafting and editing press releases and PR material
- Sell-in press releases and features to daily publications
- Organizing press launch event in association with the project work-streams
- Working with the PR agency to ensure successful campaigns and timely delivery of scope
- On the ground support at events
- Achieve PR milestone deadlines
- Update PR status reports on weekly basis
- Responsible for invoices, finances or budgets
- Responsible for video content management
Requirements
- Business degree with specialization in Marketing and Public Relations from a recognized university
- Minimum two to three years experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and communication skills (both written and oral) with high attention to detail

- Ability to engender confidence of (potential) clients and exercise good judgment in handling sensitive information
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
- The ability to work their own initiative, effectively both as an individual and as part of a team
- Excited by challenges and is a problem solver
- Experience in major event planning/staging
- Working in a matrix environment requires a strong communicator with excellent influencing, negotiation and relationship building skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills (including the ability to draft understandable, clear and consistent documents on topics within the areas of responsibility)
