Communications Specialist

Job description / Role

* Preparing an annual plan and execute activities within the approved budget.
* Developing and coordinate internal communication initiatives using effective communication channels such as the Intranet, newsletters, open forums, management tours, bulletin boards, company announcement, etc. in coordination with the Communications Team, HR department and all internal functions within the company.
* Supporting various departments with their communication activities, thereby increasing employee engagement and motivation.
* Ensuring regular, consistent and accurate communication about the company, its strategy, performance and products to encourage employees to become ambassadors for plastics.
* Maximising the use of the intranet as a key internal communication tool for the company, working in close cooperation with the webmaster
* Ensuring the Corporate Identity is adhered to in the company and support its use throughout the Company.
* Ensuring accurate translation and adaptation of communications to meet local requirements.
* Ensuring compliance to communication policies and guidelines as well as the Borouge brand identity throughout the location.
* Ensuring management of expenditures against approved budgets and plans.
* Developing and maintain positive external supplier relations to ensure adherence to Borouge's corporate identity and the effective and efficient production of products and services, and follow procurement and finance processes and procedures in the procuring of these services.
* Collaborating with all functions within the company to improve their communication actions

Requirements

* Good knowledge in communications, public relations
* Ability to use relevant systems and tool
* Proficiency in English and local language, and good written and verbal language skills
* Excellent organizing, coordination and project management skills
* University degree or above
* 3+ years of related work experience
* Experience in marketing, publishing, PR, and/or communications
