Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Responsible for all written communications for the Public Relations Department, such as in-house newsletter, Annual Report, corporate brochures & collateral materials, reports, press releases etc.
- Writes and produces all stories, articles and news for external distribution. Reviews and edits stories, articles and copy produced by third party writers and journalists for external audiences.
- Responsible for developing, writing and ensuring the accuracy and content of the company website.
- Responsible for the writing of content of the Nakilat Portal. Reviews the Nakilat Portal and selects the relevant stories, news items and pictures to be used in reporting the news and current events.
- Coordinates with Media bodies on the necessary Media coverage for Nakilats activities and Press Releases under the direction and supervision of the Head of Communications
- Participates and supports Public Relations Department in Crisis Communication and Emergency Response Drills/Exercises and Events.
- Provides public relations / internal communications support to Nakilats joint-venture companies when required.

Requirements

- Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Journalism/Media Communications or equivalent from a recognized institute.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- 5+ years experience in a Public Relations / Media environment.
- Proficiency in the use of various computer packages such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, and competency in Adobe InDesign software for creation of newsletters.

Our fleet of vessels transport LNG produced from Qatars North Field, the worlds largest non-associated gas field with approximately 15% of the worlds total proven reserves to global markets. These vessels, ordered from Korean shipyards, incorporate the latest technology for safe, reliable and cost-effective transportation of LNG.
