Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Assist Communications Manager in supporting external/internal activities of KSA CVP and SVP BDS Saudi Arabia:
- Support communication activities during executive visits
- Collate and edit Q&As and backgrounders for Executive visits
- Support CVP & SVP BDS Saudi Arabia internal Communications activities

Provide program and communications support to the KSA Communications Manager.
- Maintain up-to-date log of current press-releases, Communications Plans, Q&As, photos, backgrounders and other communications materials of frequent use on a Strategy Server
- Assist in organizing media events
- Create, edit and maintain electronic and written communication, process incoming and outgoing correspondence, coordinate schedules and prioritise, plan and implement logistics to coordinate communications and marketing events.

Provide support in the development of daily, weekly and monthly reporting across the region
- Write and distribute daily media report for KSA
- Develop weekly and monthly activity reports

Provide support in the creation and dissemination of media materials, including:
- Translate and distribute news releases and other relevant materials to KSA media
- Assist with handling media requests from KSA media
- Assist in the organization of media briefings and other special projects or events in KSA

Support KSA Communications Manager in the following activities:
- Support internal and external publicity for GCC projects in KSA
- Support the development of KSA Quarterly News Letter

Provide support at Boeing Air shows, Exhibitions and Conferences in KSA and ME:
- Support KSA Communications Manager in the organization of the Air shows, events and conferences before and during the show, focusing on communications planning and media management.
- Co-ensure positive working environment for media team and internal stakeholders at the show, events, or exhibitions.
- Assist in supporting KSA CVP and SVP BDS communications activities at the air show and other events

Other Communications responsibilities:
- Act as communications focal in the absence or upon request of KSA Communications Manager
- Support the Function Administrative activities

Requirements

- A minimum of 7 years related experience
- Bachelor degree in Public Relations/ Communications/ Media/ Business Management or equivalent
- Information Technology Fluency
- Proficiency with Microsoft office products (word, excel, power point, outlook, project), and web based applications.
- Initiative, collaboration, proactive, problem solving and judgment, adaptability and flexibility, works under pressure
- Customer focus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Ability to prioritise many concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment maintaining keen attention to detail and follow-through.
- Excellent English Verbal/ Writing Skills, 5 years of experience in Communications or Media, Dealing with multitasks, InDesign or Photoshop experience
- Bachelors degree in PR and Communications or equivalent, minimum 3 years of experience in a global company, Strong networking,

Benefits and pay will be determined at the local level and are not part of the Boeing U.S. based payroll, and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable KSA law. Candidate must be willing to work, at times, flexible schedule and support international phone calls during off hours. Some local/international travel may be required.
