Communications Specialist

A global chemicals organisation is looking to hire a Communications specialist to join it's growing Public Affairs team, based in KSA. This organisation is growing steadily in the region, having acquired a substantial new business unit recently. As a Public Relations specialist you'll be responsible for all communications: executive, media, community (CSR), and employer communications. This is a highly visible role, with some very important projects which you will be a direct part in supporting from a comms and PR perspective. The successful communications specialist will be responsible for planning and developing a strategy to identify how the brand will be built in KSA as well as identifying internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will take a mature and intelligent approach, and be very confident interfacing at a senior level with the executive teams. You will also need excellent writing skills, for drafting press releases
, internal and external communications and other written material to promote the organisation. This is absolutely essential and you will be tested on this during the recruitment process. You must be a fluent Arabic speaker as you shall be based in KSA. English fluency (written and spoken) is also essential.
