The Role


The Role


Overall Purpose: Lead company project management office consists of Contract Accounting, Planning and Control, Knowledge Management and Contract Administration to achieve strategic goals and objectives of the company.

1.Leads company project management office to achieve strategic goals and objectives of company.
2.Leads and participate in high-level strategic planning; monitor contract management, contract accounting, knowledge management, and business processes.
3.Provide and ensure implementation of appropriate and standard tools needed to accomplish projects.
4.Ensure implementation of the MS Project Server tools and enterprise project management (EPM) solution.
5.Provide the senior management and different stakeholders with data analysis for projects status, projects assessments and audits, project health and other information to support decision making process.
6.Create and maintain a knowledge shared culture
7.Review and approve various projects contracts.
8.Act as the hub for overall program delivery performance, monitoring, reporting, contract management and approvals
9.Implement and administer an effective contract document management system for the entire program, including an electronic workflow system
10.Coordinate the management of overall program budgets, contingencies, and risks
11.Maintain rigorous quality control over all aspects of projects, establishing systems and processes for managing budgets, payments, guarantees, cash flow, risk contingency and other allocated funding within the delegation.
12.Regularly conduct and evaluate research as part of the proper planning process.
13.Manage progress, claims and variations consulting other experts as necessary
14.Manage contractual risks by anticipating events and taking prompt, proactive actions to manage such risk
15.Manage spending against budget and provide regular updates of forecasts to complete (outturn forecast)
16.Manage all resources allocated to the project efficiently, putting in place appropriate delegations and controls.
17.Submit accurate, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
18.Set clear objectives and delivery targets for individual members of the team; manage performance and learning opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

•B.Sc. in relevant field
•Minimum 15 years relevant work experience in a highly technical environment
•Project management knowledge and experience is a must
•Relevant experience in managing a PMO department is a must
•Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Arabic
•Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly MS Project
•Strong leadership & communication skills and interaction with various local and international entities.
