Company Secretary - Manager

Job description / Role

Our client is one of the leading global conglomerates in the world, with a major international logistics arm. With their Head Quarters in Kuwait, this office is the heart of this thriving and fast pace environment.

Due to an ever increasing growth in operations, our client is now looking for an experienced Group Company Secretary who can handle a very business role that requires the creation of multiple companies across many jurisdictions and ensuring the on-going legal standing and overall legal operational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities/accountabilities:
- Advise and liaise with Management Board;
- Develop the processes that ensure each company complies with all applicable corporate governance regulations;
- Incorporation of New Companies / Restructures;
- Corporate Administration of Group Companies;
- Ensure the execution of multiple projects at same time ranging from (but not limited to) Incorporations, Restructuring, Expansions, Mergers & Acquisitions;
- Oversee amendments to ownerships, management and signatory status of the Company;
- Ensure Company Secretarial Procedures are adhered to and have the capability of working within a very fast past and highly demanding environment.

Requirements

- Role is based 30km outside Kuwait City
- Minimum of five years experience as a Company Secretary, plus management
- ICSA Qualification preferred (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators)
- Essential that you have managed multisite location - over 100 businesses/outlets highly

Desirable:
- Logistics or multi-industries background preferred.

The successful candidate will ideally possess an ICSA qualification or legal degree. You will ideally come from a multifaceted logistics company or a major conglomerate with an extensive global presence, ideally 50+ countries. All applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
