Employment: Full Time

A leading Aviation company is looking for a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join their team in Dubai.

The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will administer payroll and benefits. It also includes responsibilities for employee compensation, record keeping, and related compliance. The person in this position will portray a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient service to team members and employees with the highest integrity

The main role and responsibilities will include:
- Process payroll according to procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of payroll checks
- Process all payroll related paperwork; new hire, transfer, payroll/personnel changes, separation, LOAs ensuring necessary paperwork is maintained in proper files and the proper HRIS system is updated (Microsoft Dynamics and Workday)
- Process and check accuracy of freelancer invoices
- Prepare and maintain employee files ensuring accuracy, compliance and confidentially
- Respond timely and accurately to all employee queries on compensation and benefit matters
- Responsible for updating medical insurances
- Serve as benefits liaison, monitor employee benefits eligibility, and assist in all ongoing enrollments
- Ensure all related employee compensation paperwork is completed accurately and maintained in proper files
- Assist in hiring process including job postings, employment ads, and screening applicants
- Track, record and process all types of employee leaves of absences ensuring compliance, accuracy and timeliness
- Update and maintain Employment Cost Sheet
- Maintain strict confidentiality as it pertains to all human resource issues
- Prepare miscellaneous financial and operational reports in Workday/ Dynamics upon request.
- Assist in development/ update of policies and procedures to support payroll and compensation and benefits
- Accurate and timely calculation of End of Service Benefits
- Assist with the gathering of data and address questions that result from the both internal and external audits

Requirements

- A minimum of 2 years previous HR experience with payroll, benefits, and labour laws
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and high level of honesty and integrity
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with other team members and leadership.
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist team members
- Ability to comprehend instructions, correspondence, technical procedures and adherence to deadlines and policies
- Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office, i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to use Mircrosoft Dynamics distinct advantage
- Customer driven attitude that includes excellent phone and follow through skills
- Analytical skills are a must
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience accurately inputting data/numbers into systems necessary
