The Role


The Compensation and Benefits Officer will be in charge of a wide range of C&B activities namely Payroll management (monthly payroll, yearly merit and bonus calculations, expat salaries coordination, etc), salary surveying, policy reviewing, manpower planning and budgeting, offers management and separation process management.

- He/she will be in charge of running the monthly payroll for local employees from within the business unit, and payroll for expats in coordination with the regional corporate office in Cairo. That entails entering and maintaining all payroll related information on the system in coordination with the corporate office, computing and reflecting overtime, status change, merit and bonus and other special pay transactions for all company departments in accordance with the Labor standards, and finally balancing, running and closing the payroll monthly and generating required reports.

- He/she will also be in charge of reviewing the payroll policies and procedures, and working effectively with the HR Operations Manager to put in place/improve the existing policies and implementing the changes when necessary. Will assist internal and external auditors during the audit process; provide documents, reports and other payroll related credentials upon request.

- He/she will be responsible for the offer preparation based on the pay grade and against the company salary scale and benefits schemes; will compute the necessary figures for local hires based on the local contract terms, and coordinate expat offers with the corporate office HR team in Cairo.

- He/she will assume the task of manpower planning and budgeting for the business unit in conjunction with the corporate HR team in Cairo. This entails analyzing and evaluating the human resources available in the business unit and budgeting for upcoming needs.

- He/she will be responsible for managing separation cases; this entails the necessary computations related to severances, gratuities, etc alongside the necessary documentation with regards to VISA and other expat issues.

Requirements


Requirements


- 3-5 years of experience in HR of which at least 1-2 in Payroll management.

- In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.

- Strong analytical skills and reporting skills. Able to work well with numbers and complicated reports.

- Strong communication skills.

- Highly energetic and motivated individual, with personal drive and a high level of initiative.

- Strong command of English and Arabic languages.
