Job description / Role
Use analytical techniques to analyze competition from all aspects; commercial strategy, to position each player in the market and provide strategic & tactical recommendations based on competition & market benchmarks.Track & Report Competitor Activities & Pricing
* Continuously monitor & track competition from all aspects and all touch points; call center, sales channels, call rates, etc. to benchmark Zain on different operational aspects, using in-house and outsourced resources.
* Maintain a log of tariff rates for all market products, promotions, bundles, etc., to have 360 degree view of the market pricing strategy for Zain and competition.
Manage Field Teams Effectively
* Fully utilize outsource field teams solely to capture real time insights on competitor activities across different regions of KSA in the market and report on updates on the fly.
Analyze Competition to Predict expected responses & recommend strategic actions
* Compile Strategic & Tactical periodical reports; daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually of the market and competition, using internal and external agency reports and benchmarks to identify trends and patterns in activities.
* Utilize analytical methods, techniques, and/or tools and launch war gaming competitor intelligence techniques, along with historical market trends and facts, to predict and assume different scenarios for competitor offensive and defensive commercial activities and scenarios in the market and assist Zain in its Decision making accordingly.

* Education and Certification Requirements
* Bachelor degree in marketing/ strategy , Master degree is a plus
