The Thomson Reuters Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) business delivers a comprehensive suite of solutions designed to empower audit, risk and compliance professionals, business leaders, and the Boards they serve to reliably achieve business objectives, address uncertainty, and act with integrity

The Compliance Consultant will play a key role in bringing in Consultancy and classroom opportunities to Thomson Reuters Governance, Risk and Compliance business, working closely with the Head of Consultancy and fellow Consultancy team and the rest of the sales organisation.

The Consultant will primarily be responsible for:

- Providing personalised compliance and AML training to compliance and Anti Money Laundering Departments in addition to other departments.
- In house classroom training for compliance and anti-money laundering employees
- In house classroom training for senior management and customer facing employees of financial institutions
- Developing and continuously reviewing online training content and ensuring there are relevant courses for each jurisdiction for production
- Writing and reviewing of compliance and AML manuals and other related documents and procedures
- Reviewing of regulatory business plan, writing and reviewing of authorisation applications
- Building Risk Mitigation plans / Compliance monitoring programs
- Awareness of Regulatory requirements in terms of AML, Compliance and Risk Assessments.
- Mentoring Compliance / AML staff
- Review of an institutions KYC workflow and processes
- Providing corporate governance, risk and compliance framework in line with international standards of best practice
- Sales: Generating revenue by increasing the customer base, creating opportunities and achieving pre-set target on Classroom trainings & E- Learning

Requirements

- 3 to 4 years at a Compliance Consultancy business / compliance officer / money laundering reporting officer
- 2 to 3 years experience in Sales
- Legal or compliance background
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate leadership and facilitation skills
- Ability to interact with all functions and levels within an organization, including senior management
- Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
