Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Determine and assess the impacts of introducing policy changes as well as new or revised compliance policies, procedures and standards to Products/Customers, and existing business processes. Ensure new and existing policies and procedures meet a standard of excellence, and create consistency.
- Manage, review, coordinate, and publish new policies and procedures for Compliance
- Establish policy standards; monitor documents to ensure policy standards are consistently applied
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing policies and procedures, initiate enhancements as identified
- Develop written policy and procedure updates and communicate to all business units
- Lead the review and discussion of proposed compliance policy changes recommended by any department

Requirements

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge required for this role:
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulations / rules
- Strong knowledge of international compliance standards / practices
- Awareness of laws and regulations of the respective jurisdictions
- Strong knowledge of the bank's products, policies and procedures

The ideal candidate will have:
- 5 - 8yrs managing, administering and maintaining policies and procedures, previous documentation experience, policy and procedure development preferred
- Bilingual (English / Arabic)
