Compliance Manager

Job description / Role

Or Client, a leading energy company, based in Abu Dhabi is looking to recruit a Compliance Manager to assist in leading a world class compliance function and to implement an effective compliance program that operates across the Group. To ensure that the Group's compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures and operates in an ethical manner. To incorporate global best practices and to ensure compliance risks are identified and abated. To provide compliance with periodic analysis, updates and guidance on compliance related matters.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree from an internationally reputable university
Minimum 4 years’ experience in a top-tier international company (preferably UK or US)
working in a compliance position

- Analytical skills
- Strong drafting skills
Communication skills (Fluent English - essential; Arabic / French / Mandarin - desirable)
Ability to liaise effectively, and coordinate internally and with vendors and service
providers (at the international and local level)
Planning, organising and time management
