Job description / Role
Our Client, a MNC based in Dubai, is looking to appoint a Legal and Compliance Manager for their Dubai office.
The role will consist of the following:
- Identifying compliance-relevant risk areas
- Supporting the development and operation of the compliance program
- Creating appropriate regional anti-trust and anti-bribery awareness
- Compliance Training's and managing effective delivery
- Maintaining a consultation desk
- Assisting management in control and discipline
- Maintenance of related guidelines, policies and work instructions
- Acting as a first-stop regional compliance contact
- Supporting the compliance network and ensuring consistent communication of compliance topics in liaise with the Corporate Compliance and Legal organization
- Coordination of related contacts with authorities in liaise with the Corporate Compliance and Legal organization
- Coordination of investigations and hotline topics in liaise with the Corporate Compliance and Legal organization
- Reporting on compliance independently from local management
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Law
- 2 years + relevant experience
- Knowledge of applicable sanctions and the ability to review understand and apply the sanctions to shipping documentation
- Leadership skills
- Excellent command of English
