Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a global financial services provider in Dubai. Our client is looking to hire Compliance Officers on both a permanent and temporary 12 month contract basis with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate to join their growing Client Due Diligence (CDD) team.
You will be responsible for providing key support in all day-to-day CDD and AML activities including CDD / KYC file review for existing and new customers whilst complying with company procedures. You will coordinate with front office departments and the London compliance team on various CDD and AML issues as well as updating the Dubai compliance and AML team during any internal enquiry for projects assigned to the team. You will provide support in transaction monitoring activities and assist the Dubai compliance and AML team during audits and inspections.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have strong experience and judgement ability in dealing with compliance and AML related issues within the Middle East environment coupled with solid working knowledge of banking processes and systems. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills together with familiarity in interpreting banking and anti-money laundering regulations and laws.
