Job description / Role
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, the successful candidate will be responsible for compliance monitoring, administration of regulatory reporting and the maintenance of documentation, records and registers of the Compliance Department.
Key Functions: (include but not limited to)
--- Conduct screening of names and assist in the AML/CTF client due diligence and conduct risk assessment and scoring for each client of the bank
--- Assist Head of Compliance and MLRO in the implementation of the Compliance and AML/CTF compliance monitoring program for the Bank.
--- Ensure that all compliance related policies and procedures are maintained and updated on the company’s database in timely and regular basis
--- Receive and record all complaints, assist compliance and Internal Audit Department in undertaking basic investigation as necessary.
--- Ensure all staff are trained and up to date on compliance regulation and any changes in regulatory law.
--- Assist in the preparation and distribution of regular reports from the Compliance Department to management committees.
Requirements
Experience and Qualifications:
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Arabic.
Bachelor’s Degree with major in Finance/Business/Law or any related subject.
Certificates regarding AML/CFT
5 years experience in compliance with banking/ financial institutions.
Knowledge of financial regulatory environments (DFSA, FCA, QFC)
