Job description / Role
Compliance Officer (Director) Doha, Qatar (English only)
On behalf of our client, a well-reputed International Bank we are looking for a Compliance Officer authorised by QFC to join their team on Qatar.
In this challenging role your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Working closely with the Head of Compliance and overlook all banking activities
- Make sure that all processes are compliant with the banks policies and local authorities regulations
- Monitor and identify suspicious activities and transactions, review client documentation for account opening, screen sensitive accounts
- Ensure that companys operating policies are up-to-date, train employees on the new procedures
- Liaise with local authorities and regulators
Requirements
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Compliance or Legal
- Previous experience in the Banking / Finance Industry is a must
- University Degree in Finance, Business or Economics
- Fluent English written and spoken. Other language is an advantage
- High attention to detail, ability to communicate with people at all levels
