The RoleThe RoleOur client is a conglomerate of varied business activities in the Middle East, India, Far East Asia and Africa. They are urgently looking to hire a Compliance Officer. For this role it will be required to set up the Compliance function, a robust framework and strong compliance culture, along with an effective legal service, quality risk management processes and build and maintain excellent relationships with regulators. Main Accountabilities: To establish the Compliance area of The Company. To ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements of the jurisdictions where the Company operates. Responsibility for managing the level of risk within the business and attending risk committees. Creation of a fully functional controls framework Developing and implementing policies on Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud Prevention Maintaining excellent relationships with The Company's regulators Supply a high quality service to all customers, internal and external. |
RequirementsRequirements Legal or financial background mandatory Experience 1 to 3 years - junior level position Experience in Money Exchange industry is necessary Experience with anti-money laundering law UAE experience preferred |
