The RoleThe RoleMy client is seeking to recruit a Compliance Officer to administer the compliance program for the new location and to coordinate the businesses' compliance with Kuwaiti laws and regulations. You will keep the General Manager informed on an ongoing basis of the quality of compliance in the country's businesses, compliance deficiencies and the status of the corrective action. You will coordinate with the business segments to ensure that the GM is aware of the state of compliance in these other business groups. Act as the principal interface between the business and Head Office Compliance, communicate compliance policies, provide consultation and guidance to employees on compliance questions/issues. Act as principal liaison with the head office audit for matters relating to compliance and to monitor corrective action required by head office audit that relates to compliance. Coordinate production, documentation and approval of the country's annual compliance program. Provide compliance training. |
RequirementsRequirementsYou will currently hold a senior position in the country. Have relevant and extensive experience. Anti-Money Laundering experience in banking essential. Arabic Speaking with good relations with CBK. Influence and Implement compliance culture at all levels. |
