The RoleThe RoleOne of the worlds’ leading insurers with a broad range of business lines has a long established and growing business in Bahrain and is seeking a compliance professional to manage their compliance environment on the ground. The individual sought will report to the Country COO and Regional Compliance Director, and will be responsible for migrating responsibility for compliance in Bahrain from the regional head office to the Bahrain office itself. You will be responsible all aspects of the compliance environment, working with the local regulators, developing policies and processes, ensuring the smooth running of the operation and working on ad hoc eg legal and procedural tasks. The position is high profile within the group and has good progression opportunities around the region and the world. |
RequirementsRequirementsTo apply we are seeking an experienced compliance professional with all of the following: • A background of at least 3 years strong compliance experience, likely to be 5 -10 years. • Will have spent at least 1 years with a major insurance or asset management firm • Will have a strong knowledge of AML and KYC rules generated in the region, or knowledge of FSA rules • Will be business like, proactive, and will have strong leadership potential. |
