Concierge - Yas Mall Department Store Abu Dhabi

Scope: New Department store opening Yas Mall

The concierge is responsible to provide the below:
- Provide information about local features such as shopping, dining, nightlife, and recreational destinations.
- Perform office duties on a temporary basis when needed.
- Pick up and deliver items, or run errands for guests.
- Carry out unusual requests such as searching for hard-to-find items
- Arrange for interpreters or translators when patrons require such services.
- Taking care of guests essentials and belongings

Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure customers have a positive experience in stores by warmly welcoming, greeting and directing them to the appropriate service area to meet their needs.
- Communicate with customers to determine their needs, answer their basic inquiries and refer them to the appropriate personnel.
- Support operations flow and orchestrate with sales team and cashiers for the pick-up and delivery of customers selected items to POS.
- Ensure that customers needs are met before they leave the store and facilitate the delivery of their items.
- Refer any unresolved customer complaints to the designated department manager for further investigation.

Requirements

- University Degree / Diploma
- Previous Concierge experience min 1 year
- Based in Abu Dhabi currently or willing to relocate
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to remain positive attitude when handling all customer situations.
- Strong listening skills to identify customers needs.
- Teamwork and initiative.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible schedule which includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.
