Job description / Role
Implement strategies / policies to reduce power consumption and provide necessary advice/training. Develop promotional activities and monitor public awareness programs for water conservation. Perform benchmarking against best practice guidelines.
Develop, coordinate and implement strategies and policies to reduce energy consumption. Provide technical and practical advice and offering training on energy efficiency. Develop promotional activities and material to publicize particular schemes. Monitor the effectiveness of electric power public awareness programs. Ensure accurate records are maintained and energy monitoring data is collected regularly.
Liaise with and provide technical support to electric design staff on new projects regarding sustainability, energy conservation. Carrying out site inspection and energy conservation surveys. Monitor target and goal guidelines for electricity conservation. Preparing detailed schedule of work, feasibility studies and cost estimates. Develop and implement a electric management resource library. Benchmarking energy consumption against best practice guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering
10 years experience in the relevant field of training
Other Significant Requirements :
Wide knowledge on Electric networks. Be able to speak, read and write very good English. Be able to prepare and deliver topics on conservation of energy.
Be able to conduct electric design. Be able to prepare and deliver training workshops. Be able to conduct feasibility studies. Computer literacy, including specialized IT software. Having an operational background is an advantage.
