Job description / Role
The Advocate Group has been retained by one of out leading clients in the GCC region for a Construction Associate post within their Doha office,
The Firm
The law firm in question have an sterling reputation and ideally seeking Common law (Australian, UK, US, etc.) admitted lawyer who has a background to reflect this. They have a solid presence in the GCC & world wide with offices thought the Middle East, Asia Europe and America. They are regularly ranked in Chambers & legal 500 and the Partners often feature in articles and publications in the region.
Role
The position is a Associate level post and will require candidate to remain within regular contact with clients of the firms. Marketing the firms profile and working with contractors in the Doha and the greater GCC region will be a requirement alongside advising clients in dispute and commercial issues.
Requirements
- Have several years of solid private practise exposure (with a ranked national / international law firm)
- Be able to win work and promote the firm
- Capable at hitting personal targets consistently, will need to be demonstrated
- Advise clients on best course of action and provide sound advise in Construction matters in both the contentious and non contentious fields
- Some level of exposure to the GCC region
- Stepping from a leading international law firm in the construction field
- Have a balanced split between contentious and non contentious work
This is an assignment which was passed on through referral and the strictest of confidence is being enforced throughout the recruitment process.

Due to the jurisdiction most candidates can expect full, tax free, expat package which will include medical and flights back to their home jurisdiction.
The actual salary will be between (eur)85,000 - 110,000 depending on experience.
