The Role


The Role

Will be required to travel to active construction sites throughout Iraq and conduct Construction Quality Assurance Audits, Pre-Final/Final Inspections, Close out Reports, review of complex construction activities and train field Quality Assurance Engineers.
Will be required to provide detailed technical reports and inspection of construction activity conducted by construction contractors for the US Government. As issues arise outside the capabilities of the field engineers, the construction auditor will deploy to remote jobsites to conduct assessments. Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance, the Construction Auditor will render compliance of specifications opinions, project status reports and other construction management and oversight activities as assigned.
When not traveling, the Construction Auditor will be based out of Program Management Office in the International Zone.

Must be accustomed to working in a high-stress, forward-deployed environment and will have the requisite maturity and engineering skills to provide management in a dynamic, multi-cultural organization.
This position will require a 6 month commitment in Iraq of which 30 days will be spent out of country on R & R. Living conditions are sparse but clean and safe.
Extensive travel around Iraq is required for this position.
BS in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is preferred with a minimum of 5 yrs field engineering or construction experience. EIT Certification is required. Military background is a plus previous experience in Iraq/Afghanistan preferred.
Proficient with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and web-based report posting/review. Must be a US Citizen or Authorized to work in the U.S.
