Job description / Role
On behalf of our client, an international design and build contractor, we are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to their newly established branch in Dubai. You will be responsible of developing and executing strategies for obtaining new construction project opportunities, identifying all potential leads in the public and private sectors, research background data, prioritize with the CEO regarding the pre-construction and follow through with strategies for selected projects. You will also be responsible of leading the management to response to requests for proposals, qualifications and other information required in pursuit of projects. You will also be responsible of the bidding team as well as marketing management; ensuring that the company is represented at appropriate conferences, conventions etc. and updating the business promotional tools.
Requirements
The successful candidate is a senior level sales and marketing professional with over 5 years of experience in construction industry in Dubai. You have excellent knowledge of bidding process and procedures in Dubai as well as managing a technical team for bidding.You are well experienced in managing sales and marketing strategies. You have a solid network of contacts in construction companies and the best developers in Dubai. You should have excellent communication and relationship building skills, excellent working proficiency in English (speak, read and write). You will need to work from Saturday to Thursday.
