Construction Equipment Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced western expat Volvo Construction Equipment Engineering Manager based in Ghana. This is a hands on with administration duties to manage a fleet of 80 -100 pieces of mainly Volvo Equipment and Volvo Trucks. Our client is continually increasing their fleet so the task requires an articulate person who has:

Requirements

- Good personality skills to handle people, Staff/Employees, Service Providers and Clients and all those related or interactive to the position.
- Set up and manage the Central Workshop and Stores and monitor/ control site engineering staff and logistics.
- Set up a fleet management structure, planned maintenance, warranty and parts monitoring.
- Interact with the Volvo Dealership in Ghana and other Suppliers as necessary.
- Hands on experience on working with Volvo products, diagnostic abilities and worked from a customer view point in a similar capacity or dealership.
- Develop the skills engineering and parts personnel and employ suitable qualified Ghanaians.
- Able and willing to put in that extra effort to ensure that the 24 hour operation is well supported and other relevant duties as may be necessary or reasonably requested by the Directors
