Employment: Full Time

The Construction Manager will perform highly responsible construction management, coordination and inspection work involving construction projects; and to do related work as assigned. Responsible for representing the contractor interest in the project, managing construction team as well as ensuring all processes are executed in line with the companys safety management system.

In addition, the Construction Manager will also be responsible in managing construction, commissioning and handover to operations of all activities related to civil scope of work such that all construction and well hook ups are completed within the agreed budget and schedule milestones.

Requirements

Well established degree qualified construction manager with a track record of managing major elevated structure, bridge projects. Candidates with previous experience in a Metro project will be preferred. Background will be on international standard projects either with blue chip contracting companies or construction management organisations. Must have held a client facing role previously and delivered a major project from beginning to end.

This post will require a minimum qualification of University graduation in the field of Civil Engineering with experience in construction management.

The candidate should be self-innovative, creational, and able to work under minimum level of supervision in a heavy workload environment. This will be beside a quality sense of defining technical problems, collecting appropriate and related data to establish solutions.

- Determine the status of construction work and verify adherence to contractual obligations.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret extensive variety instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

This post will require a minimum qualification of University graduation in the field of Civil Engineering with experience in construction management.

Minimum 20 years post degree experience within the construction sector required in major elevated structure and/or metro required.
