Job description / Role
Lead Stakeholder in the pre-construction, construction and post-construction phases of the project.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate software applications, i.e. Microsoft Projects.
Monitor and track the procurement schedule providing input on risks to the project delivery in conjunction with the Project Coordinators feedback.
Carry out the necessary base building site surveys/inspections documentation prior to project commencement.
Reconcile architectural and MEP drawings against site conditions and the sub-contractors/vendors installation and report any findings/options to the team.
Proactively manage change management to the project scope, identify potential risks and devise suitable contingency plans.
Manage daily the on site construction progress which includes coordination of site workers, contractors, suppliers and the like.
Prepare snag and defects list.
Organize the transportation of materials/labour from factory to site and back.
Maintain strict quality control procedures - this necessitates regular testing of materials, visual inspections of work and site installation workmanship.
Monitor and evaluate labour performance.
Liaise between the Client, the Consultant, the Landlord and the office and site.
Liaise and communicate with the relevant sub-contractors.
Prepare material requisition documentation. (tools, materials, spare parts, sub-contractors, etc)
Prepare, lead and manage the site installation schedule and the weekly site progress reports.
Attend and lead the daily and weekly site meetings
Report to the Projects Manager on a regular basis.
Ensure the project is delivered on time and to budget.
Raise the completion certificates.
Provide on site post construction completion management for any further additional works, defects or the like.
Management and implementation of best practices for project execution inclusive of HSE site compliance, project specific training and development.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years on site experience in turnkey interiors or construction industry
Turnkey interiors and joinery knowledge
Experienced in reading and interpreting detailed shop drawings
driving license
Strong Communicator
Leadership qualities and experience
