Job description / Role
POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible from day-to-day operations of all disciplines including Sub Contractor activities on site
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION AND BASIC DUTIES:
1. Assumes responsibility for effective organization, deployment and control of the site labour/supervision.
2. Assumes responsibility to ensure that the standard of the installed works is in accordance with the technical and quality specification of the contract and quality of workmanship is maintained during the construction of the work.
3. Assumes responsibility to ensure that project Health & Safety standards are maintained during the construction of the work.
4. Assumes responsibility to ensure that contract drawings are constantly marked up, to enable timely issue to the Drawing Office fir issuance of the "As Built" record drawings.
5. Assumes responsibility to monitoring the cost and time scales, laising with the main contractor and gaining approvals where necessary to re-allocate or provide additional resource.
6. Assume responsibility to provide as requested by the project Quantity Surveyor with timely and accurate reports in terms of work carried out and all associated costs and finances.
7. Assume responsibility for direct liaison with the client or client representative at handover ensuring the availability and suitability of as fitted drawings and associated operation and maintenance manuals.
8. Assume responsibility to report a process any identified deficiencies or concerns during any phase of the project in accordance with company Quality Assurance procedures.
9. Assume responsibility to maintain site-working practices in accordance with the company's Health and Safety procedures.
10. Assume responsibility to prepare and maintained of accurate registers for material and drawing schedules.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification : Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Required Knowledge : Computer Skills
Experience Required: 5 Years minimum experienced as a Construction Manager, working within the Gulf on 100M+ AED MEP Projects.
