Job description / Role
Our client is a leading international contractor specialising in Marine construction. They currently have an urgent requirement for a Site / Construction Manager with experience of marine construction, particularly breakwater construction to join an existing project in Iraq.
The project involves construction of a port with a capacity to move some 36 million tons of containerized freight and about 22 million tons of dry bulk cargo in the initial phase, and further increasing the capacity to 7.5 million of twenty-foot equivalent unit (TEU) and 33 million tons in next phases.
Requirements
Following are the requirements and we would only prefer candidates qualifying the below.
Graduate in Civil Engineering
Minimum 10 years of experience in Breakwater projects
Minimum 5 years of experience as Site/Construction Manager with proven track record as such on similar projects
Strong personality
