Job description / Role
Inspire selection are working alongside an MEP Construction company with a major construction project based in Jeddah. Reporting into the Operations Manager, they have an urgent requirement for a Mechanical Construction Manager to be based on site.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
Preparing the site and liaising with other construction professionals such as architects, engineers, buyers, estimators and surveyors before construction work commences.
Developing the programme of work and strategy for making the project happen.
Planning ahead to provent problems on site before they occur, for example, planning the delivery and storage of equipment and materials.
Making safety inspections of the site when work is underway and ensuring regulations relating to health safety and the environment (HSE) are adhered to.
Overseeing the running of several projects around Jeddah.
Requirements
Mechanical degree from a recognised University
Must be able to speak Arabic and English
At least 5 years similar type experience with a construction company, preferably in MEP
Experience on a healthcare project would be an advantage
Experience of working in the Middle East and managing multicultural teams
Circa 25,000 SAR + Accommodation + transportation + Medical + flights
