Construction Manager - Power Projects

Job description / Role

- Day to day oversight and Management of the onsite Electrical construction and controls the commissioning work
- Participate in the coordination of onsite work with client, subcontractors and other contractors working in the area.
- Escalation point for issues that arise on site
- Effectively communicate daily site progress and reports
- Responsible to collect all information to prepare project feasibility reports and compile.
- Coordinate daily site activities with other parties, mobilize and manage resources identified during schedule preparation.
- Liaise with the main contractors/ suppliers/consultants/clients in all respected aspects.
- Responsible for manpower planning, monitoring and job allocation
- Closely monitor projects schedule and anticipate possible slippage in the construction ad plan for recovery.
- Inspects and evaluates projects to ensure materials and methods used are in compliance with established safety standards and project specifications.
- Continuous monitoring of contract management and project cost monitoring.
- Manage site execution in a view to reach the targets with the priorities in safety, Quality and schedule.
- Responsible for billing the client and follow-up for payments.

- Ability to read the spec and interpret to the correctness of specification and guide the entire team.
- Should be a good administrator with strong financial and analytical thinking.
- Good communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Having experience in Oil and Gas sector (Especially ADCO/ADGAS/GASCO Abu Dhabi) is Preferable.
