Job description / Role
A competent and experienced Project Manager is require for a leading road constructions company based in Muscat to run road projects in remote as well as urban areas. He should be computer literate and possess very good communication skill with experience in organize Personnel, Plants and Materials as required to construct new roads and rehabilitate old ones operations include site survey,alignment,formation,earthworks,stabilization,surfacing(asphalt & surface dressing) road marking and signage ,Full record keeping, QA/QC,HSE.
Requirements
- Candidate should be a qualified Civil Engineer and or posses considerable experience in the construction of roads in all aspects.
- Understanding and execution of earthwork operations
- Familiarity with roads materials and construction methods
- Use of plant and equipment used in road construction
- Assessment and evaluation of operatives
- Administration skills and record keeping
- Knowledge of soil stabilization technology would be an advantage and practical hands on experience in road surfacing industry.
