Job description / Role
Responsibility in reviewing the Company's Invitation to Bid (ITB) documents while assigned in Construction department in Seoul.
- Responsibility in representing the Company in every Project deliberation that GS E&C participate.
- Accompany Top level executives during foreign trips that required meetings with prospective Clients.
- Review Construction drawings, Specification and plans thoroughly and coordinate with the Project Manager to resolve potential problems.
- Prepare Construction sub-contracting Plan and schedule.
- Establish a Construction Execution Plan in consideration with actual site condition.
- Estimate Field Expenses and responsible for Construction budget control.
- Manage all Construction activities at site.
- Supervise and Control Field Staff in Field organization.
- Delegate and assign to each group of Field organization all necessary functions to be performed during the phase of Construction.
- Conduct weekly and monthly Construction meetings and monthly progress review meetings and ensure that all activities are performed against original plan.
- Make Construction members understand comprehensively to all given instructions.
- Check Construction Planning documents to anticipate any future problems and set up Plan for preventive and contingency measures.
- Prepare Construction Status report to be submitted to Client and Home office.
- Prepare Final Construction report.
Requirements
- Min. of 15 yrs. Construction experienced in EPC Project of Oil & Gas Industry.
- Knowledge and Experienced in Project Estimation and Bid Proposal.
- Knowledge and familiarity with international codes and standards.
- Excellent communication skills and expresses logical and technical explanations.
- Administrative & communication skills including proficiency in typical office applications (MS Word, Excel & Power point).
- Fluent in Oral and Written English language.
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in any Field of Engineering.
