Construction Manager - (Clientside) Turkey

Our client is a leading is a leading company in hydropower internationally and Europes largest generator of renewable energy.
The Group produces hydropower, wind power, gas-fired power and district heating and is a global player in energy market operations
They now require a site based Construction Manager for the Cetin Hydropower Project in Turkey.
Project employment opportunity suitable for candidates with international experience.
Requirements
Role:
- 3:1 rotation
- Flights paid
- On-site accommodation and board
- Comprehensive insurance coverage (medical/accident/term life)
Duties:
- Ensure that safe, environmentally acceptable working methods and practices are implemented.
- Execute the project construction activities in compliance with the project specifications, scope of work, schedule, procedures and requirements.
- Produce the project construction deliverables and review and oversee the quality of the project construction deliverables
- Review of method statements, temporary works designs, ITPs, etc.
- Maintain regular liaison with the project team as well as consultants and contractors on technical issues
- Is responsible for surveillance and measurement of contractor work quality
- Ensure staffing levels are in adequate and in line with the plans and justify any difference
- Coordinate the interfaces between different contractors
- Review and report on progress claims and variations
- Assist the PM to develop a work schedule to complete the project
- Track project milestones and deliverables and report to PM
- Develop and continuously update what-if scenarios to manage project risks.
