Construction Manager

Job description / Role

Construction Manager required, to supervise and manage on-site installations of Automation systems for major Offshore fields in the Middle East.

This is a rotational position of 30/30, with the duties expected to last for approximately 1 year.

Duties:
- Perform and oversee the entire site related activities like site survey, installation supervision, commissioning assistance, support during site acceptance tests (SAT), handing over the system to plant
- Resource planning and management for site activities
- Oversee the entire site related activities.
- Coordinate with the client and act as single point of contact at site.
- Control of all aspects of site operations, including the planning of site construction activities.
- Responsible for the profitability of operations and adherence to the agreed schedule.
- Prepare scope of work for the sub-contractor.
- Ensure that the correct versions of AFC drawings/documentation are used at site.
- Thorough knowledge of Permit to Work systems at onshore & offshore sites.
- Prepare/Maintain equipments/simulators etc. Must be familiar with usage of various types of field calibrators.
- Manage the site stores and ensure that sufficient materials are available for progress of work.
- Monitor / Control the activities of the sub-contractor and ensure timely completion of the project.

Requirements

- 15 years experience in managing Automation Site Installations in the Oil and Gas Industry
- At least 5 years relevant experience working on Offshore projects
- Middle East Experience is Mandatory
- Work site - Offshore platforms
- Must be available to start work within 30-45 days maximum
