Job description / Role
I am looking for a strong Project Construction Manager to join a consultant team responsible for the delivery and project management of the Aviation HQ in Muscat, Oman.
This role will cover the project management of construction, for the construction management team of the project which has over 12 months left to run.
The position will be responsible for the build programme and overall management of contractors on the respective project.
It is critical that you have strong major build experience of Commercial Build and Fit Out, either from a contractors point of view or from the of a management contractor /PMC.
The position is a long term role and while only 12 months+ on this project the intention is to move onto other schemes in the area or back in the UAE.
You will be responsible for site, logistic planning, safety; and quality compliance, main site coordination of contractors and their sub-contractors and their selection as well as programme and design delivery.
The package on offer will be in the region of 5,000 OMR to 5,500 OMR depending on your level ad experience. Plus Flights and Medical cover.
Requirements
Candidates should be degree qualified in construction management/ civil engineering or another build related degree. You will be between 40 to 55 years old. With 15 years construction build experience from a site – construction management perspective. YOU must have worked on Commercial construction and have GCC experience for this role.
