Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Construction Manager. The Construction Section Lead Stations will assist the Construction Manager by managing a team of onsite stations engineers and inspectors for all aspects of safety, quality, traffic & utility diversions, station structures within a tight construction program schedule. His main role is to assure that all safety, quality, design, technical standards, progress reporting and procedures are adhered during the construction process of stations excavation, dewatering spoil disposal, structural work and concreting.

Job Responsibilities:
- Assure that all aspects of safety are monitored & non-conformances corrected.
- Preparing presentations and reports as needed.
- Provide underground stations technical support and construction assurance.
- Assure that quality & progress are effectively monitored, tracked and reported throughout the program period.
- Interact with all internal Stakeholders (Qatar Rail, Employer Representative, Logistic Coordinator and D & B Contractor staff) in addition to external Stakeholders (MMUP, Ashghal, Various Utilities, Civil Defense, etc.)

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Architecture
- Minimum 15 years of experience in large-scale Infrastructure Projects or Rail Transport Systems that involved At Grade/Elevated Stations
- International Experience (Middle-East) of working in Engineering Management Firm or in a construction site environment
- Excellent oral and written English language
- Qualified professional working under limited supervision capable of overseeing general technical works and manage projects or tasks of moderate complexity with less experience staff.
- Strong Communication (written and oral) skills
- Computer Proficiency (MS Excel, MS Word and Power Point)
