Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Superintendent has the following responsibilities;

(1) Perform directions ordered by Construction Manager.

(2) Coordinate and arrange general construction activities in execution.

(3) Generally comprehend the current progress status on site.

(4) Analyze the performance of subcontractor and see that manpower control is exercised in accordance with original plan.

(5) Assure the performance of vendor specialists are in accordance with the contractual requirements and done in an efficient manner.

(6) Care for the daily transportation of the vendor specialist coordinating with Administration Manager.

(7) Determine the date of subcontractor move-in.

(8) Collect and supply data to enable administration manager & field engineer to prepare reports.

(9) Cooperate with Safety Engineer to direct safety control function.

(10) Coordinate in determining the scope of each supervisor's work.

(11) Assist in arranging preparatory work to be done by start-up team.

(12) Evaluate changes in work requested by the subcontractor.

(13) Oversee material controller's performance.

(14) Check and evaluate monthly progress measured by each supervisor.

(15) Maintain cooperative contact with client?s engineers.

(16) Expedite the client?s approval on the monthly construction progress measurement of his own discipline.

(17) Prepare the request for local purchasing.

(18) Handle the repair work of the material and equipment damages occurred after installation, including the arrangement of repair shop, specialist and transportation.

Requirements

- B.S. degree preferably in Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in construction site including Oil, Gas & Petrochemical plant.
- Demonstrated performance as Superintendent for the EPC projects in oil, gas and petrochemical construction period.
- Read, write and speak English with fluency
- Experience in Overseas Project is preferred.

- Project execution as a Supervisor or Superintendent assigned in more than five projects.
- The capability to coordinate with the related engineering disciplines and vendor.
